(Upgrade from a previous AbcTextPad version)

Just install a new release over your already installed AbcTextPad app. Don't delete the old version first, as this will delete all your text-pads as well. Please check the changelog page to see what's new.

Installing a new demo over a full registered version usually will do no harm, but as demos are somewhat crippled, you may wish to reinstall the old full version afterwards - (and get the new upgrade pack :). 

Although ABCTextPad will try to reconfigure automatically upon upgrade, depending on the type of the upgrade and your previously installed app version you may need to "Reset" ABCTextPad or to "ReRegister" using your reg-key (v2.27 is the one that requires ReRegistration).

Please note that "Reset" operation will clear all your textpad and other settings and you will have to reconfigure (check encryption and VFS shadowing settings first!).

Upgrade packs are available for registered users.
